Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is an alternative medicine therapy. It is used by osteopaths, massage and occupational therapists, naturopaths, and chiropractors. A CST session involves the therapist placing his/her hands on the client to feel the rhythm of the craniosacral system. This allows the therapist to get a sense of where restrictions may exist in the systems. Cranial Sacral Therapy is beneficial for people who have fibromyalgia, suffer from chronic pain, migraines, TMJ, neck or back pain, etc.
